Book Condition and Grading

Every book that passes through Spellman Bookstore is hand-selected with care. We take pride in offering only titles that meet our quality standards. Each copy inspected, graded, and described as accurately as possible.

Because these are pre-loved volumes, some natural signs of age and use may appear, but rest assured, every book we sell is chosen for its readability, integrity, and charm.

If a book arrives in poorer condition than described, you may return it within 7 days of delivery for a full refund or store credit. Simply contact us, and we’ll make it right.

Grading Guide

Pristine

Looks brand new. No markings, creases, or signs of wear. Pages and cover are clean, bright, and intact.

Good

Gently used and well cared for. Light wear to cover or edges, but pages are clean and binding remains strong.

Fair

Noticeable signs of use such as creasing, scuffs, or mild staining. Fully readable with all pages intact.

As Described

A unique copy with specific flaws or notes outlined in the product listing. Condition varies — see details provided.
